The World Premiere of Eric Woolfson's new Edgar Allan Poe Musical, streamed live from the Halle Opera in Germany on 28th August 2009: Written and composed by the inventor and author of the famous "Alan Parson's Project", this Musical is a brilliant and unique combination of the famous US writer's life and real hit music. Less famous than his works are the intimate details of Edgar Allan Poe's personal story: His mother died in his arms when he was just three years old. His young wife later died aged 24. After three decades, Poe meets his early love and intends to marry Elmira - and this is precisely the moment of his mysterious death, origin of a set of legends...

We are deeply moved to note that on December 2nd, 2009 Eric Woolfson,
famed composer i.a. of the "Edgar Allan Poe" Musical, passed away after
a long struggle with cancer. We are forever grateful for the opportunity we
had to experience his generous nature and wonderful personality.
The whole LiveMusical team, along with all those who knew him and appreciated his work, would like to sincerely share grief and express all sorrow and sympathy to his family. |
